“The initial idea for this SAGA project was seeded by Konstantine Angelou and myself in 2007, looking for its own time and ground to sprout. Now it is ripe enough to blossom, attracting like minded people in its morphic field ramifying into multimedia events and social projects scattered all over the canvas of the city of Thebes..

We address the invisible city, where according to Pindar “mortal women give birth to gods”, this vibrating spectral city which is clumsily hushed and cemented in the entrails of the modern city jealously hiding under its cape of triviality the formidable uroboric equation of the Sphinx enigma concerning the real nature of the human being.

I watch, from a close distance, the idea's evolving phasm modelling our new playspace, intervening only slightly with small corrective movements, always marveled by its power to possess people's minds with enthusiasm, to get continuously transformed by the contributor's interactions, always young and ready to regenerate itself and the world around it”.
